action scriptでnodeValueがnullになってしまい、苦戦しました。

<foo>
<bar>hoge</bar>
</foo>

をXMLオブジェクト"theXML"に読み込んだ時、
barノードのnodeNameは

theXML.firstChild.firstChild.nodeName

だが、
barノードのnodeValueは

theXML.firstChild.firstChild.firstChild.nodeValue

となる。
